Kijiji cha Upendo (Village of Love) supports Kenyan families caring for orphaned children. Village of Love interventions enable the children to remain safe in school. But the three month-long vacations are a dangerous time to be on the streets of Kibera, one of the worst informal settlements in Africa! Children can be drawn into crime, drugs, gangs and prostitution, resulting in early pregnancy for girls.
Help these children to complete their education and keep them off the streets! Enrich their lives, whet their appetite for learning and give them a chance to gain skills that will help them in school and in work: computer skills, visual art, photography, drama, leadership, life skills including education on HIV/AIDS.
