This conference plays a vital role in emphasizing the importance of environmental education and lifelong learning as essential tools for addressing the pressing challenges of climate change and sustainability.
Environmental education empowers individuals and communities with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values needed to participate effectively in environmental decision-making. Lifelong learning ensures that this education continues beyond formal schooling, fostering ongoing awareness, adaptation, and innovation in response to evolving environmental issues. Together, they cultivate a globally conscious citizenry capable of making informed choices and advocating for sustainable practices.
By promoting continuous education on environmental topics, the EELL Conference helps bridge gaps between science, policy, and community action. It encourages collaboration among educators, policymakers, activists, and learners of all ages, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and proactive engagement with environmental challenges.
Building on the success of our previous editions from 2023, we are excited to continue fostering dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in climate education and policy.
Looking ahead, we invite you to visit the 2026 conference registration page to discover the upcoming theme and learn how you can participate as an attendee or sponsor.
