Donate to Paul Stenton's CAP Ride 2025 campaign

I’m happy to be participating in a bike-a-thon to support children orphaned by AIDS in Africa again this year.

Kijiji Cha Upendo Children’s Project, funded through Village of Love Canada in partnership with the Canada Africa Partnership (CAP) Network was started in 2010 to support families who were caring for children orphaned by AIDS in the Kibera slum in Kenya.  It’s a grassroots effort caring for orphaned children by supporting local parents who provide loving homes for them.

There are four basic areas the project supports:

  • It EMPOWERS WOMEN caregivers economically and socially to ensure support for the children.

  • It provides small business MICRO-LOANS along with training to enable orphan caregivers to feed their children through their own enterprise.

  • It supports the children’s EDUCATION by helping pay school fees and keeping the children in school.

  • It supports COMMUNITY HEALTH through workshops on HIV/AIDS, gender issues, nutrition and children’s rights.

Please donate and help support the cause! Together, we can help ensure healthy and sustainable futures for children, families and entire communities.

Paul Stenton's CAP Ride 2025 campaign - Village of Love Canada - Pedalers with Purpose

Join us in pedaling with purpose!

We’re a team of passionate volunteers cycling to support women in Kenya who are doing something extraordinary—raising orphaned children alongside their own, often with very limited resources. Through CAP Network's annual bikeathon, we’re raising funds to help them provide food, education, and a brighter future for the children in their care.

All proceeds from this ride go to Kijiji Cha Upendo (Village of Love) Children’s Project, a grassroots organization based in Nairobi. Since 2010, Village of Love has been empowering caregivers through micro-loans and small business training, as well as offering psychosocial support, parenting workshops, life skills training, health referrals, and help with school fees.
